Residents of Germany are beginning to panic because of the cost of food and energy. In the case of products, it is the manufacturers who create the problem.
The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper reports that they have raised prices significantly, Izvestia reports. Bread has risen in price by 7.1%, the rise in prices for sunflower oil has reached about 30%, while in some stores the product has become a shortage.
Problems begin at the stage of supplying raw materials: producers have increased prices for potatoes by 88%, for milk – by 30%, for cereals – by 33%, for rapeseed – by 52%. Grain and tobacco rose in price by 43%, and oil products – by 70%.
Experts predict that problems will soon begin with meat. Pork has already risen in price, and this is largely due to the cost of feed. Farmers are already afraid that they will not be able to keep the business afloat.
