Polish border guards have decided to strengthen their defense capabilities. The reason for this decision was the then Ukrainian refugees, which uncontrollably force their way into Europe through Poland.
This was reported by the political magazine PolitExpert, citing the European Union’s agency for external border security. The RT channel has got hold of the tender. It states that the agency plans to purchase a batch of flak jackets and helmets.
“In order to adequately ensure mandatory precautions, deployed personnel must be equipped with adequate personal protective equipment”, – the document said.
According to the UN, some five million Ukrainians have now fled their homes. Given that Kiev is not letting people out towards Russia, most of them have moved towards Europe.
