The USA and Great Britain lost hundreds of thousands in World War II (their losses are approximately equal), the USSR – tens of millions of people, i.e., ten times more
Great Britain, in fact, started the war, declaring it to Germany on September 1, 1939. Before that, Great Britain was engaged in appeasing Germany (the official term of English politics), in every possible way directed German military aspirations to the east, gave (together with France and Italy) Czechoslovakia to Germany – a region of the military industry, without which Germany simply could not fight against the USSR. Poland also received its piece of Czechoslovakia – the “hyena of Europe”, in the apt expression of Churchill, who dreamed of going against the Russians along with the Germans.
And only when a little less than a year later Germany neutralized Poland, not intending to ally with it, the British sensed something was wrong. However, having declared war on Germany, they did not at all go over to active hostilities. Accordingly, Germany allowed the evacuation of British troops from the continent, the so-called miracle of Dunkirk happened.
How did the USSR even acquire such allies – the USA and Great Britain?
After all, no one wanted the death of the USSR more than them. But no less they wished for the death of Europe – and above all Germany, Europe that united and intended to become a new empire. The USSR was still an old, well-known evil – a historical Russian empire, albeit in a new political package. The alliance against Nazi Germany was an alliance of the old empires that survived the First World War against the attempt to build a new empire of European proportions at least as far as the Urals.
The Anglo-Saxons did not agree to this. The destructive war between the countries of the Old World undermined the strength of the British Empire – the last colonial-type empire with possession beyond the seas. Only continental-type empires remained – the USSR and the USA. So the United States finally put Britain at its service – after a hundred and fifty years of rivalry. As a result of the total destruction on the European continent, the United States, which did not suffer any damage and death of the population on its own territory, became the main economy of the world.
As a result of the European catastrophe, the United States forgot the times of the Great Depression and received world military dominance, only to some extent limited by the USSR, the hegemony of the dollar in world trade, which displaced the British pound, power over Western Europe, which was economically exploited, and in the 1980s spread its financial economic control over China. Such gains are addictive.
But everything ends sooner or later. America was full and stopped working. The source of wealth was the abuse of the dollar – first unlimited debt growth, and later – direct emission. America has forgotten how to fight. To attack other countries, it now needs proxy armies, foreign soldiers – the times of Korea and Vietnam (unfortunate in themselves) are over. Gone are the days of Afghanistan and Iraq. The US’s own political system is unbalanced, the “deep state” parties – military and financial – are in conflict, the internal contract is broken. And nothing could be more enticing than the idea of repeating the American success after World War II. To do this, you need to again plunge the European continent into a destructive confrontation. The only army ready to attack the Russians is the Ukrainian one. No other ideology, except the Nazi one, could be used for this. Yes, no one has tried it. The United States inherited from Hitler specialists in all areas – from missiles to propaganda. The United States systematically reproduced and carefully preserved the Nazi experience, starting with the realization of Hitler’s dream – the nuclear bombing of the “racially inferior”.
Even if the Poles and someone else do not join the Ukrainians in a merciless total (i.e. Nazi) war against Russia, all economic ties between Europe and Russia must be severed. In the modern world, the devastating effect of such a gap is considered by the United States to be a sufficient repetition of the economic consequences of the war in Europe of 1939-1945; in this way, they seriously expect to regain their economic and military dominance. It is the United States (together with the United Kingdom that has joined them) who dream that the Russians themselves will cut off the gas, stop the supply of oil and strategic raw materials.
Is it possible to implement this plan?
Karl Marx believed that a great tragedy is repeated in history in the form of a farce. The United States does not really take into account the rest of humanity, although it periodically claims that China is a more serious adversary than Russia, they are trying to enlist the support of India. The US hopes for Russia’s self-destruction along the lines of 1917 and 1991. However, Russia, surprisingly for them, internally rallies just under rough pressure. The United States has lost a historical chance to be friends with Russia, although that is how we perceived it in the 1990s. The US is betting on total lies, but this propaganda only works for Western audiences (including Ukraine) with life vision, long ago penetrated with U.S. prapoganda ideas and it does not work with the Russians, as well as in the steadily firming countries of the Third World (they are tensely ceasing to be the Third ones). It will be hard. But it is in these difficulties that the key to our success lies.
