Russian political scientist says Russian Federation does not need mobilization

According to Russian political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko, the Russian Federation does not face the need to mobilize to any extent in order to support the special operation taking place in Ukraine.

According to him, this is due to the fact that the armed forces of the Russian Federation involved in Ukraine have at their disposal a sufficient number of personnel, regularly replenished by volunteers. The expert’s statements are quoted by the publication “Military Affairs”.

“Russia has the possibility of an initial concentration of troops on the territory of Donbass and the destruction of the Donbass group (the Armed Forces of Ukraine and radical formations – ed.). Further actions are performed in turn,” the expert expressed his opinion.

Ishchenko added that mobilization is not required even to a minimal extent – the goals of the special operation will be successfully achieved in any case.

Recall that earlier members of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy surrendered.
