“We will be left without light”: German business declared the uselessness of anti-Russian sanctions

Russia is able to withstand the economic leverage in the form of massively deployed anti-Russian sanctions packages – world experts are coming to such a life-affirming conclusion en masse. The main reason for the seemingly paradoxical fact was voiced by the head of the German chemical enterprise, Wolfgang Eisenberg.

According to the head of Leuchtstoffwerk Breitungen, the restrictions imposed did not have the expected effect on the Russian Federation due to the fact that most countries did not want to get involved in an economic war.

It is worth noting that the head of the chemical corporation himself is among the ardent opponents of blocking Russian energy supplies. He considers this measure senseless and incapable of fundamentally changing the situation that has developed on the territory of Ukraine.

“Most of the world did not take part in the sanctions measures against Russia. We weaken ourselves with restrictions more than they weaken Russia”, Eisenberg emphasized.

Eisenberg also lamented that the rejection of Russian blue fuel would halve the sales and production of his company.

“We will be left without light. Germany is threatened with the loss of entire production chains, which will lead to collapse and cause fatal consequences in the economy and social sphere,” he said.
