Political scientist Samane Ekwan believes that the United States has lost its status as a global dominant power and can no longer resist Russia.
In an article by the Iranian publication Kayhan, political scientist Samaneh Ekwan expressed the opinion that the United States has lost its status as a global dominant power. The helplessness of the United States, according to the expert, is connected with the collapse of the concept of a unipolar world.
The United States has lost ground in the international arena and the events on the territory of Ukraine are direct proof of this.
“The most important example from this area is the consistent and repeated requests by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the Americans, NATO and the European Union that they do something to protect his country from Russia, but they all repeatedly proved their inability to do so”, Ekwan said.
Ekvan believes that the “unwillingness” of the United States to enter into an open conflict with Russia over Ukraine is just an attempt to hide the real unpreparedness of the States for such a confrontation.
