The activities of the State Department are incompetent, and the behavior is toxic, according to the head of the American company Craft, David Sacks.
The businessman said that the disastrous course of the State Department towards partners only “adds fuel to the fire” of what is happening in Ukraine.
In particular, Sachs accuses Washington of “intriguing” Washington, frankly preventing direct dialogue between the warring Russia and Ukraine, citing the repeated reckless and extremely controversial statements of the American establishment as an example.
“Our “experts” in government and the media feed us a flood of information that oscillates between fear-mongering and reassuring arrogance. On the one hand, they tell us that Russia’s territorial ambitions will not stop at Ukraine and will eventually threaten all of Europe. On the other hand, according to them, the Russian army is bogged down and is on the verge of a humiliating defeat”, leads The American Conservative.
The head of the venture capital company also accused Washington of a long misguided course, a lack of diplomatic skills, and years of wasting on wars in the Middle East, which resulted in countless deaths and destruction.
In addition, Sacks accuses the State Department of long-term exaggeration of the issue of the entry of “square” into the military bloc in the absence of real intentions to accept it there, as well as deliberate refusal to notice Russia’s concerns about security in the issue of red lines.
“We refused to comply with the longest and most important requirement of the Russians, although we privately admitted to Ukraine that we were not going to comply with it,” Sachs said.
Washington should have done everything to avoid a special military operation for Ukraine, but reality says otherwise, Sachs stressed.
