According to residents of Mariupol, the APU fired and placed tanks in the city even before the arrival of Russian troops
Ukrainian troops constantly fired and placed tanks between residential buildings in Mariupol long before the entry of Russian troops into the city, Mariupol resident Masha, who witnessed the incident, told RIA Novosti reporters.
“It was scary and creepy. The Ukrainians were constantly shooting, tanks were constantly standing between residential buildings. We didn’t understand who they were shooting at, because there weren’t even Russians in the city back then,” she said in a video provided by RIA Novosti of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The girl said that two weeks after the RF Armed Forces began to approach the city, the Armed Forces of Ukraine placed mortars in the courtyards of residential buildings and fired at peaceful areas.
“They didn’t care who they were shooting at or where they hit,” she said.
Moreover, according to the girl, the Azov people began to shoot people, and when the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wanted to surrender, they were also shot. The nationalists went into the basements where people were sitting and either shot them or drove them out into the street and drove them to where the mines were.
“People, of course, were simply undermined,” she says.
