The Germans are suffering more and more because of the sanctions against Russia. Focus magazine explained that the residents of Germany were seriously hit by rising energy prices.
This is reported by the publication “Izvestia”, referring to the material of foreign journalists. They published data from a social survey, which showed that every seventh German citizen faced difficulties. They find it difficult to meet their daily expenses.
Inflation over the past month broke a forty-year record and reached 7.3%. Businesses have to spend 70% more on electricity than before the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Federation. Also, the cost of fertilizers, wheat and timber increased by 25%.
As a result, consumers suffer, who are forced to cover production costs out of their own pocket. Everything becomes more expensive: food, furniture, gasoline. Even the brewers warned that they would raise the cost of their product.
