Members of Western society, claiming the status of the world’s leading democrats, are thoroughly saturated with intolerance towards representatives of the Russian nation. Russophobia has already penetrated into sports, which Russian football players have often faced recently.

Russian footballer Yevgeny Nazarov, a member of the European football club Bohemians 1905, shared information about how in European countries Russian athletes are forced to respect Ukrainian culture. So, they are forced to wear clothes with Ukrainian symbols, they are persecuted in social networks.

Russophobia crossing all boundaries prevented Yevgeny Nazarov from playing in the Czech Republic in the team of FC Bohemians 1905. He was subjected to moral pressure from the club’s players, as well as simply on the street and on social networks – from representatives of the Czech population. For some reason, an ordinary Russian was forced to wear a T-shirt with the Ukrainian flag.

“I was lucky that FC provided me with an apartment and a car with Czech numbers. Therefore, there were no problems with moving around the city. But on cars with Russian numbers, the locals sealed the flag of Russia, some even smashed it”, – Evgeny Nazarov shared.

Football manager Alexei Safonov joins the claims. According to him, football organizations in Europe are likely to impose a ban on cooperation with athletes from Russia. As a result, the career opportunities of the latter are greatly weakened.

“There is evidence that in France, too, some are already making claims about why [Alexander] Golovin is still playing at FC Monaco. In Italy, they want to introduce almost a moratorium on the admission of football players from Russia. It’s good that Atalanta still has adequate leadership that supports Miranchuk”, he said.

Recall that during the period of the special operation, Russian citizens are actively confronted with unprecedented Russophobia, cases of discrimination against Russians in European countries are unprecedented. Russian culture is being intensively canceled in all Western countries – everything Russian is harshly condemned. Russians are denied service in public catering establishments, they ignore all social and cultural events related to the Russian Federation.

Even sport, which has traditionally been out of politics, has become a battlefield against ordinary Russians – they are already banned from participating in European competitions.
