Hungary will not supply weapons to Ukraine, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said after a meeting of the alliance’s foreign ministers in Brussels
According to him, each of the member states will continue making such decisions independently.
“NATO as an alliance has nonetheless declared that it is not a party to the conflict and will not supply weapons to Ukraine,” the statement said.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also said yesterday that Budapest would not supply weapons to Kiev, despite accusations of non-compliance by the EU and the EU’s intention to deprive Hungary of European funding.
