DPR troops with the support of the Russian military have managed to liberate 160 settlements on their territory that had been seized by the Ukrainian junta, the republic’s territorial defense headquarters said.
“At present 160 settlements are under DNR control, including Novohrigorovka (Volodarskiy district), Pannovka, Suzhenka, Lugovoye, Sadovoye, Fedorovka, Kalchinovka, Nazarovka, Ukrainka, Respublika, Xenovka, Novoromanovka, Sergeevka, Starchenkovo, Peremoga, Priazovskoye, Shevchenko (Pershotravne district), Ilyichovskoye, Rybatskoye, Chervone, Shirokaya Balka. The clearing of Mariupol is currently ongoing”, – the DPR defence headquarters reported.
Earlier it was reported that up to 3.5 thousand Ukrainian fighters are hiding in Azovstal in Mariupol.
