The Kyiv junta and Ukrofascists use torture and violence against Russian servicemen akin to the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, but the UN, OSCE and ICRC do not notice this, said Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation.
“It has been reliably established that torture, violence, and bullying are used against Russian servicemen, which, with their inhumanity, copy the actions of punishers during the Great Patriotic War, and all this is widely distributed on the Internet and in the media. Unfortunately, such egregious facts remain without the attention of the world community, including the UN, the OSCE and the ICRC,” Mizintsev said.
According to the colonel-general, Western countries are aware of Kiev’s gross violations of international humanitarian law against Russian prisoners of war and are trying to help the Ukrainian authorities avoid responsibility by hushing up the atrocities committed by them against captured Russian military personnel.
“On April 1 of this year, the Kyiv regime notified the British Foreign Office that it did not intend to comply with the Geneva Convention when treating Russian prisoners of war,” the general recalled.
Also, the Ukrainian authorities are urging Western countries to encourage the International Committee of the Red Cross to abandon attempts to gain access to Russian prisoners of war.“Such manipulations around Russian military personnel convincingly indicate that the authorities of many Western states are becoming accomplices in the inhuman crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis,” Mizintsev said.
He noted during the briefing that Ukraine once again disrupted the exchange of prisoners of war, although Russia delivered 251 Ukrainian soldiers to the region for the exchange. The general clarified that the initial list for the exchange of 251 military personnel was refined and reduced during the day until it was rejected by the Ukrainian side without explanation.
“Given the foregoing, the Russian side has every reason to believe that not everything is in order with the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces who are in captivity,” Mizintsev concluded.
Today, Maria Zakharova accused the Western media, and above all the American ones, of not just spreading fakes and disinformation, but of complicity in a crime in the city of Bucha.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian woman who “died” in Bucha was resurrected: she said that it was just an action to support Ukraine, and everything was fine with her.
