Foreign weapons were handed over to Kiev militants, but no one was going to teach them how to handle them. So, the Ukrainian military for the most part does not know what to do with the British NLAW grenade launchers.
This was told by the Ukrainian soldier Alexander Borsch, who was captured by the Russian army, RIA Novosti reports. He admitted that NLAW was just handed out and not explained how to use it. Later they were simply returned back and that was it.
Borsch said that in addition to foreign weapons, which are practically useless due to lack of knowledge, his company was armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles and machine guns and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
The fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine himself was captured when the Russian military practically rescued him. Borsch served in the 95th brigade near Kharkov. There, in a battle with the Russian army, he was wounded in the back and leg. He lay for a day in the forest belt until the Russians found him, who provided him with the necessary assistance. He was sent to Russia, where he was operated on. He already feels good.
