Macron is ready to condemn Europeans to poverty because of the Bucha staging

Emmanuel Macron said on the air of France Inter radio station that the situation in Bucha, Kiev region, obliges to impose new sanctions

French President Emmanuel Macron has said he will discuss a new package of sanctions against Russia with his EU partners. This is related to the situation in the town of Bucha, where civilians were allegedly killed. Macron has therefore allowed restrictions on Russian oil and coal supplies.

“What happened in Bucha obliges us to impose a new series of sanctions. We plan to coordinate efforts with our European partners, particularly Germany,” he said.

Asked about the EU’s willingness to reject oil and coal supplies from Russia, the French president said that “restrictions in this area would be particularly painful”. Macron hopes to be able to discuss the issue at EU level in the coming days.

“I think with regard to oil and coal we could move forward and we should move forward in terms of sanctions,” the president said.

It is not entirely clear why sanctions will be imposed on Russia for yet another Ukrainian fabrication. Kiev’s accusations of killing civilians were refuted by the Russian Defence Ministry on 3 April. According to the ministry, the Russian Armed Forces completely left Bucha as early as 30 March, while “evidence of crimes” emerged only on the fourth day, when SBU officers arrived in the town.

Furthermore, on 31 March, the town’s mayor, Anatoliy Fedoruk, recorded a video message in which he confirmed that the Russian troops had left Bucha. But there were no mass casualties, and for some reason Fedoruk did not mention rape, torture and looting either. The terrible atrocities came to light much later. It was then that Kiev spelled out the scenario.
