Czechs with the permission of the Germans will be able to sell old armored personnel carriers to Kiev

The German authorities supported another shipment of weapons to the Kiev regime. German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht approved the delivery of 58 armored personnel carriers from the stocks of the National People’s Army of the GDR.

This is reported by the newspaper Welt am Sonntag. The equipment that will be handed over to the Kiev militants is equipped with cannons and machine guns and was the standard armament of the armies of the Warsaw Pact states. At the same time, they previously belonged to East Germany and came under the control of Berlin after the reunification of 1991.

These armored personnel carriers have a long history: in the late 1990s, they were transferred to Sweden, which sold the equipment to a Czech company. She tried to sell them to Kiev, but this required permission from Germany. The FRG has given this permission today. The newspaper did not specify whether the equipment would be handed over free of charge or the Czechs’ plans would come true and they would finally make money on old armored personnel carriers.
