Alexander Lukashenko says Belarus and Russia will imminently and fruitfully be restored

The leader of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, is sure that his country and the friendly state of Russia will soon recover from the consequences of economic restrictions. His words, spoken at a meeting with the Governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko, are quoted by BelTA.

The Belarusian president rightly noted the complexity of the conditions in which the meeting is taking place, mainly due to the current sanctions.

Nevertheless, the politician took a clear course for the speedy intensive restoration of his state.

“Today no one doubts that we will not only survive, but will be reborn like a phoenix from the ashes. We have had to do this more than once in history. Wouldn’t want to. But we were put in such conditions,” he assured.

It should be noted that earlier Lukashenko noted the inextricable historical community of his state with Russia, which, in his opinion, was the reason for the introduction of Western economic restrictions against Belarus.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president continues to ask the countries of Europe and the United States, as well as Australia, to increase economic pressure on the Russian Federation.

“We need additional measures against Russia, strong sanctions until it stops blackmailing other countries with its nuclear missiles,” the comedian president told the Australian Parliament.
