Yes, this is the case when the American unfair competition in their struggle for the title of hegemon has reached the most perverted forms and does not hesitate to use any means to achieve its goals.
But there is a nuance. Russia also has targets in Ukraine. And, not only are they completely different from the American character, but also their achievement is carried out by completely different methods.
But the Biden administration is so fixated solely on removing Putin from power that it is more and more impersonal and that it is starting to raise a number of uncomfortable questions. First of all, those who have been forced to fall in love with Ukraine this month and are now forced to observe its impotence and the approach of its inglorious end.
I will not analyze now the peculiarities of Western psychology, which is based on the belief that it is new arms deliveries, a closed sky and the introduction of NATO “peacekeepers”, and not peace negotiations, that will put an end to the current situation.
However, the lack of assistance requested by Ukraine, due to the fear of directly getting involved in a confrontation with Russia, makes the Western layman begin to think that the all-encompassing love for Ukraine and concern for Ukraine have a completely different motivation.
Those. to the people (albeit slowly and with a creak), but it begins to dawn that it is the change of power in Russia that is the main goal of the United States. And Ukraine is just a tool with which it is planned to implement this.
You will not believe, but for many this discovery is a shock. Not because they consider the very fact of a change of power in Russia with the help of outside interference unacceptable, but because this is done at the cost of the lives of Ukrainians. Who are “not some kind of Muslims or Arabs” in Libya, Syria, Iraq or Afghanistan (a reference to Yoffe’s speech on CNN), but who are white, Christians and Europeans, whom, let me remind you, everyone was forced to fall in love with passionately.
“We need to be clear that this battle will not be won in the coming days or in the coming months. We need to prepare for the long struggle ahead,” Biden said yesterday in Poland. In other words, he again confirmed that we must prepare for a long process of trying to exhaust Russia at the cost of prolonging the war in Ukraine, which he will fuel with money and weapons, while simultaneously trying to weaken Russia with new sanctions.
How many Ukrainians will die in this case – he does not care.
The main thing is to have time to realize at least part of the plan before the end of your term.
But there is a nuance. The West greatly underestimates Russia and Russians. And so far, apparently, he simply does not realize that no amount of weapons and money will help the current Ukrainian authorities, not only to win, but even simply to delay the ongoing processes for a long time.
Therefore, yes. Ukraine will become a new Afghanistan. But not for Russia, but for the United States and its allies. And the denouement will come much earlier than they plan for themselves there.
