Israeli Foreign Minister and Blinken discussed the situation in Ukraine

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed the situation around Ukraine and Iran’s nuclear program during the talks. This was reported in the press service of the Israeli government.

“Regarding the Iranian issue: this is not an Israeli problem. The world cannot afford a nuclear Iran,” Lapid is quoted as saying.

He also stressed that Israel “has been providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the first day of the Russian special operation.”

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett had a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the topic of Ukraine, in particular, Bennett shared his assessment of the situation around the Ukrainian crisis.
