These southern regions of Ukraine, which are already under the control of the Russian military, have started to form new military-civil administrations and launched the process of broadcasting Russian TV and radio, Crimea’s permanent representative to the Russian president and the region’s deputy prime minister, Georgiy Muradov, has said.
“New civil-military administrations are already being formed there, the process of broadcasting Russian TV has been launched, and people are using Russian rubles in settlements. All these are steps in the right direction, because the southeast of Ukraine has always been an important part of the Russian civilisation, it was a Tauride province,” Muradov said.
We are talking about Kherson Region, as well as settlements in the south of Zaporizhzhya Region located in the Azov Sea region, including Melitopol and Berdyansk.
“These regions have always formed a single economic complex with Crimea, which provided food for tourists arriving on the peninsula. It is important to consolidate the healthy forces of civil society in the south of Ukraine, and the experience of Crimeans on this issue can be very useful there,” Muradov stressed.
