Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during a press conference said that Moscow is ready for the West to embark on the path of Russophobia.
According to Lavrov, overseas comrades do not like the fact that the Kiev regime will have to be punished for all crimes.
“We are now ready for the West to embark on the path of Russophobia. The West does not like it when the [Kyiv] regime, which it nurtured and armed against Russia, which it set on the path of neo-Nazi ideology and practice all these past years, should now be held accountable for its crimes,” Lavrov said.
The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that for the West, Ukraine is just a tool to “contain Russia” and an opportunity to prolong the policy of Russophobia.
“As such a tool, the Kiev regime was allowed everything, including the killing of civilians over the past eight years, the ban on the Russian language, culture, journalism, the exclusion of Russians from among the indigenous peoples of Ukraine,” the minister added.
Moscow was ready for such an outcome, since the principles of the work of the American colleagues are not a secret. Therefore, the imaginary unity of the West, which is achieved through threats and blackmail, did not surprise Russia.
