Residents of the LPR, DPR and Ukraine were allowed to work in Russia without a patent

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia announced the recognition of documents issued in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. In particular, we are talking about driver’s licenses and car registration certificates.

This issue was discussed during a meeting at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Deputy head of the department Oleksandr Gorodovoy explained that such a decision was made to make life easier for refugees from Donbass, who are now in 34 regions of the country.

“Documents of citizens of Ukraine, the DPR and LPR, including driver’s licenses and vehicle registration certificates, will be recognized throughout the Russian Federation,” he said.

In addition, the changes apply to citizens of Ukraine. So, the ministry changed the employment rules for residents of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine. Now they don’t need a patent to work.
