NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg remains in office for another year.
It is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the Norwegian TV channel TV2. He stated that he received such data from his sources.
“TV 2 has learned that Stoltenberg’s tenure as head of NATO will be extended for another year,” the journalists said, referring to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Norway is in favor of extending the powers of Stoltenberg. According to Stere, NATO is satisfied with his work as Secretary General. He also admitted that he had already discussed this topic with Stoltenberg and the issue can be considered closed.
