The Kremlin reacted to the plans of the United States to exclude Russia from the G20. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov commented on the situation during a briefing.
He noted that the G20 is a multilateral format, but the Americans will put pressure on its participants to get rid of Russia. His words are reported by the Izvestia edition.
“The fact that, in terms of comprehensive opposition to our country, the United States is already exerting overt and little diplomatic pressure on all countries is well known to everyone,” Peskov said.
At the same time, not all countries participating in the format succumb to pressure from the United States. Many leaders adhere to their own point of view and do not share the desire of the Americans to isolate the Russian Federation.
