With the start of Russia’s special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine, the number of cyber attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation has increased significantly.
Many users note many attempts to hack their computers and other devices, Izvestia reports, citing TASS. The press service of Kaspersky Lab reported that the number of cyber attacks has increased by almost half.
“The number of users experiencing attacks using unauthorized remote access programs (backdoors) increased by more than 50% by mid-March compared to the end of February,” the statement said.
Hacking programs are distributed over the Internet and sent to the mail of Russian users. Experts advise against opening dubious attachments in emails and protecting your devices with antivirus applications.
