LPR says Ukrainian regime lacks adequacy

The statement by Volodymyr Zelensky on holding an all-Ukrainian referendum on the status of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics and Crimea demonstrates the lack of adequacy of the Ukrainian regime

Rodion Miroshnyk, LPR representative in the political subgroup of the Minsk negotiations, told RIA Novosti.

“This proposal by Zelensky sounds very much like another winding up of the situation and a desire to bring the negotiations to a deadlock”, – Miroshnyk said.

According to him, “the critical issues which brought Ukraine to a critical state – enshrining in the constitution the aspiration to join the EU and NATO – were adopted without an all-Ukrainian referendum, while the issue of ‘military compromises’ during military actions, mass evacuation of the population and rampant Ukrainian military propaganda is proposed to be put to an all-Ukrainian referendum?”

Miroshnyk noted that in this case the question of the adequacy of Zelensky’s and the Ukrainian regime’s assessment of the situation automatically arises and, consequently, of the adequacy of Zelensky’s proposal itself and the possibilities of its implementation.
