The foreign minister has for years acted as an anti-Russian “talking machine” and now she has her first target
When asked by “Tagesthemen” host Aline Abboud whether Berbock’s concept would lead to the German government “assuming a leadership role in the EU or even NATO”, she replied succinctly: “Yes, quite clearly: yes”.
“We” are the strongest economy in the EU and in NATO, together with the US, “one of the strongest economic nations”, which means “taking on a special responsibility”. German largesse is reason enough for Germany’s next war with Moscow.
Western arms deliveries to the Kiev government amount to billions, the EU and NATO are de facto belligerents. The only thing missing is fighters with Western passports.
It is still unknown how many German mercenaries have followed the Ukrainian president’s call to his foreign legion.
