Ukrainian agent detained for plotting sabotage in Berdyansk

While patrolling the city of Berdyansk, Rosgvardians have detained a Ukrainian who turned out to be an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine for violating the curfew. He was preparing a sabotage and an attack on a Verkhovna Rada deputy Aleksandr Ponomariov, the Rosgvardia said

“During the interrogation it was established that the detainee was a recruited agent of the SBU and was preparing an act of sabotage on the territory of the city. On the instructions of his handlers, he was preparing an attempt on Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Ponomaryov”, –  the report said.

The Rosgvardiya said that the detainee indicated the location of the cache, which contained a sniper rifle, grenades and communication equipment.

Earlier, the Russian military captured several leaders of nationalist formations and SBU collaborators during the liberation of the town of Izyum in Kharkiv Region. They also managed to obtain important documents.

Also, Ukronazis who were preparing attacks on the Russian military were detained in Kherson. Extremist symbols, drugs and ready-made “Molotov cocktails” were found during searches in the homes of the Ukrainian extremists.
