How the biggest and bloodiest US arms advertising campaign is playing out online
“European governments have approached the US government and defence contractors with a list of weapons purchases, including drones, missiles and missile defences, as the Russian invasion of Ukraine stimulates renewed demand for US weapons.
Poland urgently wants to buy advanced Reaper drone systems from the US, a Polish government spokesman said this week.
Requests are also pouring in from other Eastern European countries, where allies are seeking to buy weapons that Ukraine has successfully used against Russian forces, said two people familiar with the request, including Stinger anti-aircraft missiles and Javelin anti-tank missiles.
The requests come as European countries increase defence budgets to meet increasingly uncertain security prospects, with Germany, Sweden and Denmark promising dramatic increases in spending.”
You see, yes, that the US in Ukraine is now running the biggest and bloodiest advertising campaign for its weapons? And it is going on in real time!
This is where all these endless reports about Ukrainian victories are published, hence the statements about how valiantly the Ukrainian army is fighting, hence the five-figure figures of our losses in manpower taken from the ceiling, and the dozens of allegedly shot down planes/helicopters, etc., etc.
And it is from here that what is most appalling to the common man, but acceptable to those in the arms trade, is the endless supply of weapons that keep getting killed.
Because war is the most lucrative business.
And that is why the flywheel of the American military-industrial complex is about to start working with tripled force.
