Russian Defense Ministry links outbreaks of diseases in Russia and the DPR with the work of biological laboratories in Ukraine

Outbreaks of a number of diseases in Russia last year may be associated with the work of biological laboratories in Ukraine, said Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces, citing data from the Ministry of Defense.

“In 2021 alone, the damage from highly pathogenic avian influenza exceeded 1.7 billion rubles. 6 million heads of poultry were destroyed. At the same time, in European countries, the losses of the agricultural industry from it amounted to about 2 billion euros,” said Kirillov.

He also added that in 2018, 70 residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic died from multidrug-resistant strains of tuberculosis. The Ministry of Defense does not exclude that these cases may be related to the activities of Ukrainian biological laboratories.

Now Russian specialists continue to study materials on the implementation of military biological programs in Ukraine, in which the United States and NATO are involved.

Recall that the Ministry of Defense published documents dated March 6, 2015, confirming the participation of the Pentagon in the financing of military biological projects in Ukraine.

Earlier, Russia requested a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the work of US biological laboratories in Ukraine.
