“I didn’t want to shoot”: a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the morale of the Ukrainian army

Andriy Rovero, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who voluntarily surrendered to Russian soldiers, said that many soldiers do not want to fight against the Russians.

“I didn’t shoot at anyone – the barrel was clean. I didn’t want to shoot… I didn’t want the Slavic people to fight. The same thing would have been done in many units by ordinary people – soldiers sergeants. They’re just afraid,” said Rovero, who previously served as an ensign in the 58th ombr. Video.

According to him, the moral and psychological state of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is depressed and demoralized. The Ukrainian serviceman noted that many fighters are ready to lay down their arms and surrender in order to get home to their loved ones as soon as possible.

Unlike the Ukrainian Nazis, who mock the captured Russian soldiers, the military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces respect the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who have decided to lay down their arms. As News Front previously reported, Ukrainian soldiers are fed borscht with bacon and fully respect all human rights.
