China warns anti-Russian sanctions hurt global economy

The Chinese authorities have noticed that the sanctions that the West imposes against Russia have a negative impact on the entire global economy.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and member of the State Council of China Wang Yi, during a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstroy, pointed out this problem, Izvestia reports.

“At present, the United States and Europe are non-stop increasing sanctions against Russia. For the difficult recovery of the global economy, this is once again like salt in the wound. In addition, it causes unjustified damage to the well-being of the inhabitants of all countries,” the diplomat said.

Even the European Union recognizes that the restrictions imposed on the Russian Federation harm the authors of the sanctions. In addition, they are causing discord in the EU. Some countries demand to toughen them, to refuse the Russian energy carriers. Others, mostly those closer to the north, suggest not to get excited. As a result, all these can lead to internal disagreements in Europe and the final collapse of the association.
