Airport workers refused to load weapons for Ukraine on the plane in Italy

Airport workers in the Italian city of Pisa refused to load weapons on the plane, which were supposed to be sent to Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid, RIA Novosti reports.

“Airplanes departing from the cargo terminal must be filled with provisions, medicines and other humanitarian aid. When the loaders were under the plane, they found boxes with weapons of various types, ammunition and explosives. A bitter and terrible surprise, confirming the atmosphere of war that the government is dragging us into”, said the city branch of a large USB union.

It is noted that the Italian planes were supposed to fly to Poland and then to Ukraine. The union demanded to immediately block flights with such cargo, and recommended that airport workers continue to refuse to load weapons and explosives. At the same time, according to the Italian media, it remains unknown what exactly he was trying to send ammunition to Ukraine in this way.
