Belarus ratified agreements on cooperation with the Russian Federation in the military sphere

The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus has ratified a number of agreements on Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the military sphere.

“Draft laws “On the ratification of international treaties” on issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the military sphere have been adopted,” the press service of the Belarusian parliament said.

It is noted that the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus ratified an agreement between Minsk and Moscow on the extension of the Agreement on the procedure for the use and maintenance of the Vileyka radio station located on the territory of the republic, and the protocol on the extension of the Agreement on the procedure for completing the construction, use and maintenance node “Baranovichi” of the missile attack warning system, located on Belarusian territory.

Earlier, the presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, during the meeting agreed on the supply of modern models of military equipment to Minsk.
