The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a note to the United States Embassy in connection with the anti-Russian statements of the American company Meta.
It owns the social networks Facebook and Instagram, which openly allowed their users to express Russophobic views. This is reported by the publication “Izvestia”, referring to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov.
“On the question of Facebook and the Meta company in general, I can say that yesterday a note was handed over to the American embassy that a case will be opened under Article 280 against the leadership of this company and those who allow the distribution of this kind of criminal, unacceptable even by ethical standards. US messages,” he noted.
Apparently, the company decided that they would get away with its position, but Moscow will not tolerate this. The Western “civilized” world, filled with tolerance, must understand that discrimination against a person on any basis, including nationality or citizenship, is unacceptable. If the “lights of democracy” have forgotten about this, they will definitely be reminded.
