Zelensky has signed a law to forcibly seize property of Russia and its residents

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed today a law on the principles of compulsory seizure of property of the Russian Federation and its residents in Ukraine, the media reported

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the relevant draft law on 3 March 2022.

Previously, Zelensky signed the law which allows all residents of the country to use weapons during martial law.

Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said that the possible nationalization of Western companies and seizure of Russian property abroad may have a mutual negative impact.
