U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland has confirmed that there are biological research facilities in Ukraine and they are working to ensure that they do not fall into Russia’s hands
“There are biological research facilities in Ukraine that, in fact, we’re very concerned about right now… Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of them. We’re working with the Ukrainians to prevent any of that research material from getting into the hands of Russian forces if they get close”, – Nuland told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
