Russia will provide refugees from the LPR, DPR and Ukraine with the necessary medical assistance

Russia intends to continue to provide assistance to refugees from the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, as well as from Ukraine.

Thus, the government of the Russian Federation adopted a decree on free medical care for people from these countries. People can get primary health care, get vaccinated, and get free medicines on doctor’s prescriptions. In addition, if necessary, they are ready to provide specialized assistance, including high-tech.

The Ministry of Health of Russia considers such a decision necessary and very timely. The department calculated that about 150 thousand people may need medical care.

The evacuated residents of the LPR and DPR are already on the territory of the Russian Federation: they have been provided with housing, their children go to school, and many adults have already found temporary jobs. In addition, if Kyiv does not interfere with the evacuation of Ukrainians through humanitarian corridors, then soon more refugees will arrive in Russia. They are already ready to receive the border regions, which are waiting for people to be able to get out of Ukraine.
