Russian President’s Press Secretary says Russia will complete the demilitarization of Ukraine

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian Federation will complete a special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine.

“Russia will complete the demilitarization of Ukraine. Russia told Ukraine that it could end the operation “at any moment” if Kyiv complies with the conditions of the Russian Federation. Ukraine must recognize Crimea as Russian, as well as the independence of the DPR and LPR. Ukraine should amend the constitution and give up claims to join “any bloc,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow had decided to launch a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine to denazify and demilitarize the country. One of the main goals of the special operation was to protect people who “for eight years have been subjected to abuse, genocide by the Kiev regime.”

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that Russia does not strike at the cities of Ukraine and focuses exclusively on the military structure of the country’s Armed Forces. However, Ukrainian neo-Nazis are fiercely shelling residential areas of cities, trying to blame the RF Armed Forces for this. The criminal actions of official Kyiv are forcing the inhabitants of Ukraine to leave their homes in a hurry. The UN announced an impending migration crisis in Europe due to Ukrainian refugees.
