Germany will not refuse cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of energy supply

Germany, known for its pragmatic approach, does not intend to completely cut off relations with Russia. Berlin is well aware of what such a decision could lead to.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that his country decided to continue business with Russia in the field of energy supply. It is reported by TASS.

In order not to upset Western colleagues at all with their unwillingness to sacrifice their interests for the sake of Washington and the imaginary support of Ukraine, such a decision is presented as temporary.

Scholz claims that Germany and its European Union partners are looking for an alternative to Russian gas. But they cannot do it quickly, so for now the principles and the desire to “punish the Russian aggressor” can be put aside. In the end, in cold rooms without electricity, one thinks worse.
