In a telephone conversation with Turkish leader Erdogan today, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that this will only be possible if Kiev stops fighting in Donbas and meets all Russian demands
Putin also explained to the Turkish president the tasks and objectives of the special operation in Ukraine and said that it was progressing according to plan.
The Kremlin said that Moscow was ready for dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities and foreign partners to resolve the conflict. Kiev’s attempts to drag out the negotiating process have no prospects.
For his part, Erdogan expressed Ankara’s readiness to facilitate a peaceful settlement of the situation. He separately criticized the West’s campaign to discriminate against Russian culture and its figures.
