Artillery units of the Ukrainian armed formations continue to target residential areas of the Republic
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy opened fire on our territory twenty times with the use of BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 152 and 122 mm barrel artillery, 120 and 82 mm mortars. Areas of ten settlements in the Republic were hit by the shelling.
As a result of the Ukrainian aggression, there were casualties among civilians, four citizens were wounded, including one child. Five residential buildings and two infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Materials on civilian injuries and deaths, as well as damage to infrastructure, will be handed over to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, as well as
to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in the criminal cases initiated against the AFU command.
The DPR People’s Militia units continue their efforts to liberate towns and villages in the republic from Ukrainian invaders. Over the past 24 hours, the settlements have been taken under control: Znamenovka, Solnechnoye and Privolnoye.
In the course of successful offensive actions in Volnovakha direction, personal belongings, ideological literature and Right Sector flag were found at the former positions of the 53rd Brigade, which once again confirms the commitment of Ukrainian militants to the ideology of Nazism. In addition, self-made weapons, including mortars and grenade launchers, were found at abandoned positions. I would like to point out that the weapons in question are identical to those used by Igil fighters in the far east.
While clearing the area of explosives, improvised explosive devices were found near transformer substations and the central water pipeline branch, with the help of which the militants were planning to de-energise the area.
The retreating nationalists are trying to cause the greatest damage to the water and energy systems, their aim being to create a humanitarian disaster in Donbas.
For all the civilians of Mariupol and Volnovakha who have expressed a desire to temporarily leave for safety.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation together with the DPR organize humanitarian corridors and guarantee the safety of movement along the routes:
For residents of Mariupol to the east along the M23 Mariupol – Novoazovsk route.
For residents of Volnovakha along the Volnovakha-Rybinskoye motorway.
I would like to pay special attention to the soldiers of the DPR People’s Militia, whose courage and bravery in the fight against the nationalists will remain an example for future generations and will go down in history.
Senior sergeant Leonid Smolyar Leonid was wounded while attacking in Bogdanovka, but despite this he continued to command the subdivision and organized well-coordinated work of the unit in attacking battle, personally destroyed two units of enemy’s equipment, including one BMP, which allowed to destroy the enemy avoiding losses among the personnel.
