Jens Stoltenberg says NATO is not looking for war with Russia

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO does not plan to enter into an armed conflict with Russia.

“NATO is not looking for war with Russia and is not a party to the conflict in Ukraine,” the NATO Secretary General said.

However, Stoltenberg stressed that the North Atlantic Alliance intends to increase its presence on the Russian borders. Earlier it was reported that the NATO grouping in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe is almost ten thousand people.

The United States sent several hundred Stinger man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) to Ukraine, according to NBC. The German authorities, in turn, plan to provide Ukraine with 2,700 Strela anti-aircraft missiles. However, later it turned out that the missiles were covered with rust and unsuitable for combat.
