Two humanitarian corridors opened for Mariupol residents

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation together with the People’s Militia of the DPR are organizing two humanitarian corridors for the residents of Mariupol, said the DPR’s people’s militia department spokesman Colonel Eduard Basurin

“Residents of the city of Mariupol and adjacent settlements. Nothing threatens you, but in the emerging situation, when under the leadership of the Ukrainian special services units of the AFU  are preparing terrorist attacks and provocations to discredit the Russian Armed Forces in the eyes of the world community, many of you fear for your lives. Two humanitarian corridors are being set up by the Russian Armed Forces in cooperation with the DPR people’s militia department for all civilians who wish to temporarily leave for safety”, – Basurin said.

The DNR people’s militia department official noted that Mariupol can be left by March 2, 2022 through one of the two routes.

“Safety of movement is guaranteed on the sections of the E58 highway, in the directions both towards Zaporizhzhia region and to the territory of the Russian Federation: – in the west direction: Mariupol – Mangush. – Eastbound: Mariupol – Bezymennoye. The Russian Federation is ready to receive and accommodate the residents of Mariupol,” the colonel stressed.
