Slutsky calls on the US to refuse to supply arms to Ukraine

Slutsky urged the US to refuse to supply arms to Ukraine The head of the State Duma’s international committee, Leonid Slutsky, said Washington’s best contribution to the negotiation process would be to withdraw supplies of lethal weapons to Kiev

Slutsky noted that State Department spokesman Ned Price said Washington intended to work closely with the Ukrainian authorities on negotiations with Russia, which he described as diplomacy “at gunpoint”.

“Washington’s best contribution to the peace process now would be to withdraw the supply of lethal weapons and its military trainers from Ukrainian territory. Today’s casualties and human losses are on the conscience of those who have ensured all these years of external administration of Ukraine,” Slutsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
