DPR urged to make a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol for residents to leave

It will be necessary to try to make a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol for civilians to leave, said Eduard Basurin

“Mariupol is second in population, was third after Makeyevka, now probably second. Therefore, everything will have to be done so that the civilian population is not affected. By the way, there is a very big problem with food there. The military are collecting foodstuffs for themselves because they complain that they have nothing to eat. Accordingly they will take it away from the civilians. We will have to deal with it somehow and try to unblock the city as soon as possible, make a humanitarian aid corridor so that civilians can leave and then deal with the city itself,” he said.

Earlier Basurin said that the encirclement of Mariupol will be fully completed today, 1 March.
