The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, said that residents of the Ukrainian capital can freely leave the city along the Kyiv-Vasilkov highway.
“All civilians in the city can freely leave the capital of Ukraine along the Kyiv-Vasilkov highway. This direction is open and safe,” Konashenkov said, RIA Novosti reports.
The representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense noted that the Ukrainian leadership is persuading the residents of the capital to stay in their homes, which once again proves that the Kyiv regime uses the residents of the city as a “human shield” for the nationalists who have deployed artillery units and military equipment in residential areas of the capital.
It is also announced that groups of “Russian saboteurs” are allegedly operating in the capital, and the city itself is blocked, Konashenkov noted. However, according to him, “armed gangs of marauders, robbers and nationalists who received weapons as a result of the criminal decision of the authorities to distribute them uncontrollably to the population” operate in Kyiv.
