The press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Anatoly Glaz, said that the platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine had been prepared.
“The platform for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Belarus has been prepared, the arrival of delegations is expected. The Belarusian side is ready to organize the process at any moment,” the representative of the Foreign Ministry said on Twitter.
According to the press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, the talks will begin as soon as all the delegations arrive at the meeting place. As it became known earlier, the Russian delegation arrived in Belarus on February 27 to hold talks with representatives of Kyiv in the Gomel region, but the Ukrainian delegation did not appear at the appointed time.
According to the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, Ukraine is not a free and independent state, and the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky is completely subordinate to the United States.
