Explosion at oil depot in the LPR occurred due to impact of Tochka-U missile complex of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The cause of the explosion at the oil depot in the village of Rovenki in the Luhansk People’s Republic was a missile strike by the Tochka-U complex, which was inflicted by Kiev militants.

This is reported by the “Lugansk Information Center”, referring to the representative office of the LPR in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC).

“According to updated information, the fire of the oil depot in the city of Rovenky occurred as a result of the use of tactical missile systems 9K79-1 “Tochka-U” by the armed formations of Ukraine,” experts said.

Earlier, News Front reported on the attack on Rovenki. It happened on the evening of February 26th. The first explosion was followed by a second. 200 tons of diesel fuel started to catch fire. The city authorities had to evacuate the civilian population that lives near the affected oil depot.
