During the press conference following talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and LPR Foreign Minister and Deputy Foreign Minister of the DPR, Lavrov answered CNN journalist Matthew Chance’s question:
“If you are now horrified by what is happening in Kiev, has anyone from CNN been to the Donbas itself? Has anyone seen how schools were destroyed, seen how women were killed who carried babies in their arms, how carpet bombing of a children’s beach was carried out? Has anyone been there for you? I think that you should ask your questions based on the facts. And the facts are stated in the speech of President Putin”.
